The University of Maryland Baltimore, School of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Science (PTRS), entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy program is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position with significant time spent in clinical practice.
Clinical practice responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of patients referred from University of Maryland Orthopedic Associates (UMOA) surgeons and others. Collaboration opportunities with other services provided at the practice include radiology, occupational therapy, and orthotics/prosthetics. This position will require regular travel of less than 30 miles to multiple University of Maryland clinical and academic sites.
Teaching responsibilities include didactic instruction within the DPT Program in areas of content expertise; participation in curriculum evaluation and development of the DPT program; student advisement; engagement in scholarly activities; and service.
A physical therapy license or Maryland eligibility for PT licensure, a clinical doctoral degree, and prior experience working with patients with orthopedic conditions are required.
Rank and Salary: Assistant Professor (Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications).
