Seeking a collaborative project management professional to join the association’s project management team. The right candidate for this position is able to develop complex project plans, lead and facilitate project team meetings, and communicate across the enterprise to ensure projects run smoothly. This project manager should demonstrate excellent judgement in analyzing project details and possess the skills to make connections across different projects and adapt to teams’ unique needs in pursuing the successful completion of project objectives. This candidate is comfortable working across a broad mix of projects from software and system implementations to large association conferences or events, to strategic initiatives, and can manage multiple projects at once.
Creates project plans and schedules tasks and deliverables
Facilitates project meetings
Holds project teams accountable to deadlines and deliverables
Develops and maintains project documentation
Participates in setting best practices
Uses project management skills to set priorities, assess risks, and allocate time and resources effectively
5+ years’ project management or similar experience
Detailed knowledge of project management functions and best practices, with proven ability to multitask and adhere to tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills and team building; ability to collaborate with stakeholders and leaders across the organization
Excellent organization and communication skills
Acute attention to detail
PMP certification preferred
Familiarity with Asana preferred
Experience in a member-oriented association preferred
