The Department of Physical Therapy is seeking applicants for a tenure-track faculty position with open-rank for its accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy program. The position is a nine-month appointment beginning as early as spring semester 2025 or as late as fall semester 2025. The ideal applicant is a licensed physical therapist with earned academic doctorate (e.g., PhD, EdD, DHSc. DSc) in physical therapy or a related field of study and evidence of clinical specialization. Priority will be given to candidates with contemporary expertise in cardiopulmonary physical therapy, exercise physiology, preventative health and wellness, and principles of teaching and learning. Prior academic experience in a Doctor of Physical Therapy program is preferred. Faculty have access to a fully equipped applied cardiopulmonary laboratory and motion analysis lab to support their research agenda. Faculty are also responsible for advising students with capstone projects and service to the profession and across all levels of the University.
