Summary
This position will provide professional support for activities of the Certifications department, specifically the Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program (CCIP) certificate-based programs. Assists department colleagues with carrying out efforts to meet objectives on organizational priorities with a focus on departmental contributions to education and certification strategy for the Association. Supports operational needs for appointed and member volunteer groups and APTA leadership. Provides support with compliance documents. Seeks out and supports and opportunities for continuous quality improvement in department activities. Effective champion of the Association vision, mission, and brand.
Essential Functions
Provides professional oversight and management support for all logistical and administrative duties for credentialing course fulfillment
Provides support to the CCIP’s project initiatives
Manages and processes invoices for CCIP program (vendors, marketing, finances connected to meetings)
Completes forms for CCIP continuing education units (CEUs) review
Maintains CCIP program policies and procedures manual and website
Manages the logistics of annual Train-the-Trainer Course and APTA conference meetings
Liaisons between APTA and online system program administrators and print vendor
Implements work plans related to respective activities of the Certifications department specific to the CCIP program which align with organizational priorities and the Association’s education and certification strategy
Contributes to and implements recommendations on advancing operations within the department specific to the CCIP to gain efficiencies, and grow revenue, if applicable
Contributes to quality assurance and continuous quality/performance improvement for CCIP activities, including supporting manager, department director, and unit leader in annual assessments of respective budget activities
Supports the Education team in the implementation of the Association’s programs, priorities, and projects in partnership with department director and staff colleagues
Prepares, in consultation with the manager and director department level data which supports and aligns with the APTA data strategy

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
PT or PTA status preferred
3+ years’ experience working in a nonprofit, association or business setting
Strong computer/database experience required
Ability to communicate effectively - verbal and written
Experience in certifications or credentialing programs preferred
Project management skills a plus
Experience in entering and handling data accurately in a variety of systems/programs
Excellent organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize
Some business or finance experience preferred
Travel Requirements
